Getting Started with AI Calendar Integration
Get up and running with AI Calendar Integration in just 10 minutes. This guide covers subscription setup, calendar connection, and your first AI-scheduled event.
Step 1: Subscribe to AI Calendar Add-On
AI Calendar Integration is an optional add-on available for all BrainPredict platforms. Add it from the pricing configurator:
- Starter (1-10 licenses):
- Professional (11-25 licenses):
- Enterprise (26-50 licenses):
- Custom (51+ licenses): Contact sales for custom pricing
The add-on works across all subscribed platforms (Commerce, Supply, People, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Finance, Innovation, Controlling, Communications, Data, Strategy, Sourcing, Operations, Customer, Cyber).
Step 2: Connect Your Calendar
Navigate to Portal → Settings → Calendar and connect your calendar provider:
- Google Calendar: OAuth2 authentication with Google
- Microsoft Outlook: OAuth2 authentication with Microsoft Graph API
- Apple Calendar: CalDAV connection with iCloud credentials
Click "Connect [Provider]" and follow the OAuth flow. You'll be redirected back to BrainPredict after authorization.
Privacy: Your calendar data is encrypted and stored securely. We only access your calendar to create and manage AI-scheduled events. You can disconnect at any time.
Step 3: Configure Preferences
In the Preferences tab, configure your AI Calendar settings:
- Master Toggle: Enable/disable AI Calendar Integration (opt-in)
- Platform Preferences: Choose which platforms can create calendar events (Commerce, Supply, People, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Finance, Innovation, Controlling, Communications, Data, Strategy, Sourcing, Operations, Customer)
- Priority Filtering: Only schedule recommendations above a certain priority (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, IMMEDIATE)
- Business Hours: Set your working hours (e.g., 9 AM - 6 PM) and timezone
- Exclude Weekends: Don't schedule events on Saturday/Sunday
- Volume Controls: Set max events per day (default: 5) and per week (default: 20)
Step 4: Test Your First Event
Once configured, BrainPredict will automatically schedule AI recommendations into your calendar. To test:
- Navigate to your platform dashboard (e.g., BrainPredict Commerce)
- Wait for AI to generate a high-priority recommendation
- Check your calendar - the event should appear automatically
- Click the event to see details, including the AI recommendation and suggested actions
Events are scheduled at optimal times based on your calendar patterns, priorities, and work habits.
Step 5: Enable Autonomous Execution (Optional)
For advanced users, enable Autonomous Execution to let AI execute approved actions automatically:
- Maximum Cost Per Action: Set a cost threshold (default: €50,000)
- Approval Threshold: Actions above this require explicit approval (default: €50,000)
- Max Actions Per Day: Safety limit to prevent excessive actions (default: 10)
️ Safety Controls: Circuit breaker stops execution if error rate exceeds 5%. All actions are logged in comprehensive audit trail. Reversible actions can be rolled back.
