Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of BrainPredict's AI platform services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use BrainPredict services for any of the following:

2.1 Illegal Activities

• Any activity that violates local, national, or international law
• Fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes
• Intellectual property infringement or piracy
• Distribution of illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
• Hacking, phishing, or unauthorized access to systems

2.2 Harmful Content

• Malware, viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
• Content promoting violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Harassment, bullying, or threats against individuals or groups
• Spam, unsolicited advertising, or mass marketing
• Pornographic or sexually explicit content

2.3 System Abuse

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Circumventing security measures or access controls
• Excessive API calls or resource consumption (see Section 3)
• Denial-of-service attacks or network flooding
• Unauthorized data scraping or automated access
• Sharing login credentials or licenses with unauthorized users

2.4 Data Misuse

• Processing data without proper legal basis or consent
• Violating GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection regulations
• Selling or sharing customer data without authorization
• Using AI models to make discriminatory decisions (hiring, lending, etc.)
• Training AI models on copyrighted data without permission

2.5 Competitive Intelligence

• Benchmarking our services for competitive analysis without permission
• Copying our AI models, algorithms, or intellectual property
• Building competing products using our services
• Reselling or white-labeling our services without authorization

3. Resource Usage Limits

To ensure fair usage for all customers, we enforce the following limits:

Exceeding Limits: If you consistently exceed your tier's limits, we may contact you to upgrade your subscription or throttle your usage.

4. Security Requirements

You must maintain reasonable security practices:

• Strong Passwords: Use passwords with minimum 12 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
• Two-Factor Authentication: Enable 2FA for all admin accounts (required for Enterprise tier)
• Access Controls: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and principle of least privilege
• API Key Security: Never expose API keys in public repositories or client-side code
• Incident Reporting: Report security incidents to support@brainpredict.ai within 24 hours

Violations of this AUP may result in:

1. Warning: First-time minor violations receive a written warning
2. Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations result in 7-30 day suspension
3. Permanent Termination: Serious violations (illegal activity, security breaches) result in immediate termination without refund
4. Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue legal action for violations causing harm or financial loss
5. Law Enforcement: We will cooperate with law enforcement for illegal activities
