Cancellation Policy

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel your BrainPredict subscription at any time using any of these methods:

No Cancellation Fees: We never charge cancellation fees. You can cancel anytime without penalty.

2. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellation timing depends on your subscription type:

Monthly Subscriptions

• Effective Date: End of current billing period
• Access: You retain full access until the end of your paid period
• No Refund: No refund for partial months (except 30-day money-back guarantee)
• Example: Cancel on Nov 15, billing date is Nov 25 → Access until Nov 25

Annual Subscriptions

• Effective Date: End of annual term
• Access: You retain full access for the remainder of your annual term
• Pro-Rata Refund: Available for months 2-6 (see Refund Policy)
• Example: Cancel in month 4 of 12 → Access until month 12, 50% refund for 8 unused months

3. What Happens After Cancellation

When your subscription ends:

1. Access Revoked: You lose access to all BrainPredict platforms and AI models
2. Data Retention: Your data is retained for 30 days (see Section 4)
3. Licenses Deactivated: All user licenses are immediately deactivated
4. API Keys Revoked: All API keys stop working
5. Billing Stops: No further charges to your payment method
6. Email Confirmation: You receive cancellation confirmation email

4. Data Retention and Export

We provide a 30-day grace period to export your data:

Export Formats: JSON, CSV, Excel (XLSX), PDF reports

What's Included: All customer data, AI model configurations, historical predictions, reports, user settings

5. Reactivation

You can reactivate your subscription anytime:

• Within 30 Days: Reactivate via Customer Portal → All data restored immediately
• After 30 Days: Must create new subscription → Data cannot be recovered
• Pricing: Current pricing applies (may differ from original subscription)
• No Reactivation Fee: We never charge reactivation fees

6. Downgrading vs. Cancelling

Consider downgrading instead of cancelling:

7. Involuntary Cancellation

BrainPredict may cancel your subscription for:

• Non-Payment: 3 failed payment attempts → 7-day grace period → Cancellation
• Terms Violation: Violation of Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
• Fraud: Suspected fraudulent activity or chargebacks
• Legal Requirement: Court order or regulatory requirement

Notice: We will provide 7 days notice before involuntary cancellation (except for fraud/legal cases).
