Every BrainPredict inference queries the live EU grid carbon intensity (gCO₂eq/kWh) from electricitymap.org for the data centre region — updated every 5 minutes. No estimates, no averages.
Per-Inference Carbon Accounting
Carbon = (compute_watts × inference_ms / 3,600,000 kWh) × grid_intensity + embodied_hardware_carbon. Scope 2 (operational) and Scope 3 (embedded hardware) calculated separately per prediction.
Merkle-Anchored Carbon Ledger
Every carbon record is immutably anchored in the BrainPredict Merkle ledger. SHA3-256 chained records prove the accounting has not been retroactively modified — court-admissible for ESG due diligence.
